CCNE Accreditation
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and post-graduate APRN certificate programs at Jacksonville University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (www.ccneaccreditation.org).
Scholarship Information
JU & Brooks Rehabilitation Nursing Excellence Scholarship - when awarded, each accepted student receives between $10,000 and $25,000 (based on program track and work-agreement length) applied directly to tuition.
The scholarship is paired with a post-graduation employment opportunity at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital – University Campus or Halifax Health | Brooks Rehabilitation Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation, and includes mentorship, clinical engagement, and a structured pathway to full-time RN practice.
To apply, you must be an accepted student who has deposited for the upcoming year.
JU Jacksonville ABSN Merit Scholarship - each student accepted to the Jacksonville ABSN program will be considered to receive a scholarship.
Explore Nursing Programs at JU
Master of Science in Nursing
Our MSN degree prepares students for advanced practice roles in nursing and offers the following concentrations: Clinical Nurse Educator, Leadership in Healthcare Systems, and Nursing Informatics. Students can complete their coursework in as little as 18 months. Our programs are offered in part-time and full-time tracks so you can learn at your own pace. Master of Science in Nursing programs are also available with specializations as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Doctor of Nursing Practice
We offer multiple ways to obtain a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DPT) for nurses who have already earned a BSN or MSN degree. Our programs are for registered nurses who are seeking to earn a terminal degree and grow into leadership positions in the healthcare industry.

JU offers three ABSN programs and an accelerated, direct entry MSN that will prepare you to make a career change as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- 12-Month Second Degree Accelerated BSN JU & Baptist Health (Fall Entry Term)
- 12-month Second Degree Accelerated BSN JU & Mayo Clinic (Summer Entry Term)
